Journal Cover

This week I wanted to share withyou A journal cover the I did using allot of the supplies you can get from Imagine if...
In the pictures below you can see how stencilling with modelling paste can give a fun texture as well as a little dimension.

 
On some heavy weight chipboard I first painted and collaged the base to give me a background.
I then used modelling paste and lay my stencils down.  Using a credit card I spread the modelling paste.  I dried it with my heat gun..I like the bubbly effect that came with heat the paste up.
 

 
as well as the chip board butterfly and word I also got these beautiful flowers and leaves from Imagine if...
Such a fun project.
